Dishoek is ooit als uitkijkpost voor Vlissingen gesticht en heette oorspronkelijk Dijckshoek.
Deze naam kreeg het dorpje omdat het bij een Zeedijk lag. De restanten van deze dijk zijn nog steeds te zien bij laag water.
Duinlust bestaat sinds 1934 als horeca gelegenheid. Het pand is in 1932 ontworpen door een vrouwelijke architect in de stijl volgens “de Amsterdamse School”.
In 1934 was het gebouw gereed en werd geëxploiteerd door Weduwe Kluijfhout.
We serveren lekkere huisgemaakte seizoensproducten uit de regio, plof neer op ons terras om te genieten van een lekker biertje of een goed glas wijnen laat je culinair verwennen!
